For example in a Naphtha Hydrotreater tests run on a spent catalyst have reduced the coke by 70%.
In Diesel Hydrotreaters and Hydrocrackers coke reduction on the spent catalyst has been 30%.
If the technology is capable of dissolving the coke on a spent catalyst, much easily it can prevent coke
formation during the run.
The technology also finds use in reducing catalyst unloading time, which is in the critical path of any catalyst
change operation.
Additionally, the application of ITW technology will e.g. reduce the time for hot hydrogen stripping.
